  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tbsp cold water

  • Frangipane filling
  • 6 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg and 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp apple brandy (can sub vanilla, but will have a different flavor)
  • 2/3 cup ground almonds
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
